Hello and welcome to my website. As the sub-header suggests, I’m a writer (mainly non-fiction), an academic, and a massive book nerd. Areas of interest include musical theatre, race and gender in popular culture, positionality, belonging, and storytelling. I’m also committed to improving equity in British higher education and the performing arts.

On this site, you’ll find a mixture of things: snapshots of my work, free resources I’ve built, and some random thoughts about books. Please have a look around. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in chatting or would like to work together!

You can also hear me on the episode “Friends of Dorothy” and Queerness in The Wizard of Oz on Bent Notes podcast run by the LGBTQ+ Music Study Group!
